One roof at a time. Yours.

Bootstrap Roofing is a three-person crew that takes one job at a time, so your roof isn’t squeezed between four others. April is on site, and she doesn’t call it finished until she’s inspected it.

How a Bootstrap roof gets done

  1. April inspects the roof

Not a salesperson. The owner, on your roof, explaining what she found and what it means.

  2. A written estimate and options

A transparent price, a realistic timeline and your choice of materials. No pressure to sign that day.

  3. Our crew does your roof, and only yours

We work on one roof at a time. The crew tears off, replaces bad decking, installs, and cleans up as they go.

  4. The April-approved walk-through

April inspects the finished roof herself before she calls it done.

What homeowners say about April

Every review, word for word
Bootstrap Roofing was fantastic. Our house was built with an opening in the porch roof, and the exposure caused the beam and pillar to rot. We contacted Bootstrap, and April responded promptly. She was an absolute pleasure to work with. She gave us a transparent cost estimate and a realistic timeline. She presented us with options for materials, and their team came out quickly to fix the roof. They nicely finished the porch ceiling…

She is your go to person for your roofing needs!!!”

From makeup artist to roofer at 52

April Santiago spent about 32 years as a professional makeup artist for news, TV, film and weddings. When Covid wiped that work out in 2020, she went from contouring cheekbones to cutting valleys. She learned the trade working for a roofing company, got tired of watching contractors skip the details, and started Bootstrap Roofing in October 2020.

“There are no salespeople and no pressure.”

How much does a new roof cost in Garland, TX?

Bootstrap Roofing gives every homeowner a written estimate after April inspects the roof, because size, pitch, rotten decking and shingle choice all change the price. For one real example, a Dallas-area re-roof in early 2026 that included decking repairs and a new ridge vent came in under $9,000.
